Therapeutic Preparties:
Certain bacteria spread through Air and water causes fungal growth, infections and molds. Citronella oil is a home remedy to escape from certain kind of water and air infections.
Citronella oil constitutes hydroxyls like citronellol, geraniol (>60%), which are anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and strong insect repellent protects. It helps to reduce infections and very strong insect / mosquito repellent.
Insect and mosquito repellent:
- Add 5-10 drops to diffusers
- Add 10-15 drops to mopping water
- Add 1-2 drops to a spoon of coconut oil / Jojoba oil and apply to exposed skin.
Note: Citronella oil is very strong, application on skin may get irritation.
DIY: Swasthya blend. Mix below proportion of oils. Use with diffuser or floor/surface moping with dilution.
Citronella oil- 25 ml
Lemongrass oil - 20 ml
Cedarwood oil - 10 ml
Peppermint oil - 5 ml
